We have previously undertaken capacity development assignments in association with public sector organisations where we have:

Situation Assessment  
• Evaluated financial management capacity levels of governments and government organisations
• Reviewed financial management policy and assessed progress made in implementing public financial management (PFM) reforms
• Applied Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability (PEFA) methodology to the assessment of PFM performance

Practice Development
• Created financial management building programmes
• Improved prevailing financial management regulations, policies and guidelines covering a wide range of activities including revenue collection, budgeting, budgetary control, procurement and governance arrangements
• Created, prioritised and costed financial management reform programmes

Implementation of change
• Provided a wide range of training and mentoring activities in support of improved financial management arrangements
• Supported management in making changes to organisational structure and process to deliver improvements in financial management practices
• Introduced major developments in financial planning, performance management, efficiency savings, online service delivery, and staff engagement in service improvement programmes

Stakeholder Relationships
• Developed extensive hands-on experience in senior executive roles in public and private sector organisations
• Acted as public sector advisors in numerous regions around the world including Africa, Europe, the Middle East, the Pacific Rim and South Asia 
• Undertaken advisory assignments in countries worldwide including Bangladesh, Botswana, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Kiribati, Nauru, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Rwanda, Samoa, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Tanzania, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu, and as executives in the United Kingdom
• Worked in collaboration with some major aid agencies such as the Asian Development Bank, AusAid, Dfid, European Union, Southern Africa Development Bank and the World Bank
• Provided advice and consulted with Pacific Rim and United Kingdom private sector clients on a range of public policy topics
